World Builder – Who Says Geeks Are Not Romantic?

As soon I saw this video, I had to share it with everyone. It’s fantastic!

A strange man builds a world using holographic tools for the woman he loves.

This award winning short film was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely known as the co-creator of ‘405‘. World Builder was shot in a single day followed by about 2 years of post production. Branit is the owner of Branit VFX based in Kansas City.

Shot and rendered in Kansas City. It’s a love story, as well as a piece about the tools that regular users will use in future (maybe faster than we think) to composite photographs.

It’s an amazing piece of work really. And somehow all this reminds me of Google Sketchup tool. But take a look and enjoy!
