New iPhone Pro? With sliding keyboard?

Apple made this so popular, so useful and so cool smartphone called iPhone. And many many people are using it. In fact, they can’t live a day without it. Ok… Cool… Nothing bad with that… But as more people are using it, there are more of them who find some missing modifications that would make iPhone even better and even more functional. And that’s not all. Some of them even started visualizing how would an iPhone from their dreams look like. And some of them Photoshoped that Elite iPhone or iPhone Pro as they call it.

The whole Photoshop idea of this ‘imagined’ iPhone was started by Mat Brady over at Planet Mat where he made a photo of iPhone prototype (iPhone Elite) that he would like to show to Steve Jobs for future modifications on iPhone. Nice idea isn’t it? (something makes me think that Steve Jobs has better ideas in mind but… let’s see what happens).

Mat’s imagined iPhone Elite: an iPhone with 60GB of storage, true 16:9 aspect ratio, slide-out keyboard, one megapixel front camera for iChat, and a high quality camera, with good lenses, optical zoom, and video capability. (too much work for Steve Jobs?)

Here’s Mat’s photo of the iPhone Elite:

But after Mat, Gizmodo came up with their modification of iPhone and they called it iPhone Pro. (I should have made one too :) )
Gizmodo’s added a direction pad and two buttons for the D-Pad and everything else is like Mat imagined.

Here’s Gizmodo’s iPhone Pro:

I would like to say following as a response to these iPhone iWishes:

I have an iPhone 3G 16GB and I love it! It is great and very useful smartphone that i would not change for any phone on the earth. (at least for now…) And I am satisfied with iPhone like this and with no modifications. And besides that I think you will agree when I say that these modifications aren’t quite possible.
First because: Can you imagine how much thicker iPhone would be just with that sliding keyboard added, and not to talk about the other modifications that are mentioned above.
I sincerely hope that Steve Jobs has some betters ideas in mind when it comes to changing iPhone. (I would like to see some changes, but not like these mentioned above)
Otherwise I would have some better ideas of changing the iPhone with some different smartphone. :)

What would YOU like to change in future releases of iPhone? (but for god sake, please think about thickness:)

Nice post, I like the idea of being able to video via the iPhone, and apparently that could be coming up next as developers have already found a basic interface for video camera capabilities. :D
