The world’s first 3G touchscreen watch phone by LG

Finally! LG has got it right this time. I mean they had great products before too but this one will really hit the crowd.

Apparently Korea-based LG will release this 3G touch screen watch phone in January and it will first be officially debuted at CES at the beginning of the January. (LG-GD910)
Ok let’s see what this little but very useful gadget can do;

The LG-GD910 watch phone (or wrist phone as some call it) will support 3G which is making it so useful and cool, and that is made possible by a video camera that has been integrated into the upper watch face and it enables video recording or video conferencing…

The display is built as a 1.43-inch color LCD touchscreen. Pretty well used space on a watch. This way you won’t carry some big chunk on your wrist and still it maintains great functionality.

The device also provides some cool text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities, Bluetooth, MP3 playback and voice dialing with speech recognition. And that’s note all. It has this cool thing that will make this gadget even more popular and useful – HSDPA. The company said that download speeds are going up to 7.2 Mbps when using HSDPA technology. (not bad for a watch phone:)

European and Korean customers will have the first opportunity to purchase the new wrist phones, that’s for sure… Prices  have not yet been announced.

And I am sure you want to take a closer look at this cool device so here are some bigger photos of  the LG-GD910:
